Patients that are good candidates for our program have seen multiple providers with limited results and are ready to take the next step into a more personalized program.

Post-Concussion

Yes by addressing the frontal lobe specifically with combinations of dual tasking, cognitive training and addressing underlying issues such as eye tracking and vestibular dysfunction we can improve the regions of the brain that may be draining energy away from cognitive function.

Yes many of the patients we see have dizziness and vertigo.

With combinations of manual therapy, ARPwave, laser and vestibular exercises we have had success addressing stubborn pain based conditions.

Yes we have had success improving balance in patients in our Personalized Neuro-Recovery Programs.

By assessing and managing all aspects of neurology, metabolic and structure we have improved anxiety and depression in our patients. In some cases we have worked with local CBT therapists, nutritionists and Hypnosis.

If your child’s symptoms align with the description of Post Concussion Syndrome they may in fact have Post Concussion Syndrome. For a more concrete diagnosis, please schedule a Diagnostic Assessment, Discovery Day or Weekly Intensive.

Vestibular Dysfunction

Gyrostim and other low tech vestibular rehabilitation techniques have been effective in improving vestibular dysfunction. Many patients we have seen have already done vestibular exercises with limited results. What makes us different is the way we thoughtfully combine therapies in your Personalized Neuro-Recovery Program. All therapies are tailored to your specific condition and based on the findings of your Diagnostic Assessment.

Brain Injuries (TBI / ABI)

subtraction icon subtraction icon Can you help with brain injuries that have affected the cerebellum?

Yes – during your initial Neuro-Exam we will review your Proprioception to identify any issues with your Cerebellum. Proprioception is your sense of movement and body position in space. Affecting voluntary movements such as posture, balance, coordination, and even speech. Tests like the Computerized Dynamic Posturography, or ‘balance board,’ help uncover if there are issues in your proprioception vs. vestibular systems.

Yes. The effects of each accident are unique to you and your brain but we have seen many patients who are suffering from brain trauma due to a car accident.

Dysautonomia

We do help with patients who have GI dysfunction. Many of the patients we have helped have had brain injuries or other trauma and there GI dysfunction is caused by their neurological dysfunction. We manage these cases during our Week Intensive program. If you have gut issues where are not associated with these conditions above we work very closely with local MDs and Nurse Practitioners.

Yes! Many of the patients we see are referred to us by other providers from various fields in healthcare.

Week Intensive Program - Personalized Neuro-Recovery Program

Your Personalized Neuro-Recovery Program Week Intensive is a five-day rehabilitation experience. During the week your Doctor will use a functional neurological approach and in depth diagnostics to assess your condition, develop a customized recovery plan and adjust your therapy throughout the week based on your ongoing progress. Everyone’s experience and treatment protocol us unique but most people will have a combination of visual, vestibular, myofascial work, cognitive exercises or integrated sensory stimulation. To read more about our approach visit the Personalized Neuro-Recovery Program page.

We have put together a visitors guide of sensory friendly restaurants and activities. If you feel like you need a quiet place to relax in between sessions please let us know and we can make accommodations.

There are a number of hotels in the area to fit any budget. Some popular hotels include, La Quinta, Marriott Courtyard, The Landing, The Marsh.

On Wednesday after our re examination and diagnostics if there are no subjective or objective improvements and you are questioning if this program is right for you we will have a straight-forward conversation about what are the next appropriate steps to help you move in the right direction.

Many of the patients we see are complex cases and have seen multiple other providers with some or limited results. If you would like to continue your recovery at a more accelerated rate, consider a Weekly Intensive.

Each person’s condition is unique and some patients do return for an additional week intensive programs. We also offer eight and ten-day intensive programs for those who are able to stay for the full two weeks.

Yes – in some more complex conditions we do recommend a ten-day intensive program.

Your treatment won’t stop when you go home. We’re with you every step of the way. Even after your five-day treatment program, you’ll have two months of at-home support and an app to help you track ongoing improvement and symptoms and function.

Yes – local patients are able to do the intensive program. You can choose to return home each evening or book a room at a nearby hotel to stay between your daily visits.

Yes – our intensive neuro-recovery programs are for any person who needs help with their brain health.

subtraction icon subtraction icon I do not think I am that severe that I would need to do you intensive program, can I still be examined?

Yes – you can come in for a 60-minute Neuro Exam or a full Discovery Day to work with our doctors to determine the level of severity of your condition and discuss a recommended treatment program/duration.

Yes – local patients are invited to come in for treatment on an on-going basis. However, the success of your treatments relies heavily on the consistency which you participate in therapy and the most reliable way to help make progress is by participating in therapy on a daily basis for one to two weeks in a row.

Only certified service animals are allowed in the clinic.
